I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were modernized with only flat-screen televisions, which I found nice. The size was a bit small, but being a non-smoking room was a plus. The location was great for me, right off the 99 freeway in north Bakersfield, providing easy access to restaurants and the freeway. The dining experience was good overall, especially the free continental breakfast. However, it was a bit disappointing as some items were not refilled promptly for all guests.
